The Xeomin difference

Beauty with intention. Double filtered.

Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) by Merz is FDA-approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet — together or one area at a time. It is the first and only double-purified neuromodulator, using XTRACT Technology™ to strip away unnecessary complexing proteins.

  • XTRACT Technology™. Xeomin is the first and only double-purified neuromodulator. Proprietary XTRACT filtering removes unnecessary complexing proteins, leaving the active 150 kDa toxin.
  • Built for repeat treatments. Leftover inactive proteins in some toxins can be seen as foreign over time, which may blunt results. Merz reports zero toxin resistance in its clinical studies. Ryan will still dose from your history.
  • FDA-approved upper face. Approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet — treated together or one area at a time.
  • Room-temp vial before mixing. Unreconstituted Xeomin does not need refrigeration. After mixing, we handle it per manufacturer and clinic protocol.
  • Natural movement, not frozen. Mapped, conservative dosing is designed to soften lines while you still look like you. Individual results vary.
  • NP-administered, every visit. Ryan Kent, FNP-BC directs the consult and injects. Medical Director Dr. Mukesh Arora, MD oversees the protocol. Units are mapped at the visit — Xeomin doses are not interchangeable with other botulinum toxins.

How Xeomin works

Smooth the lines. Keep the face.

Xeomin relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles — the ones that show when you smile, frown, or squint — so upper-face lines look softer without looking done.

Dynamic wrinkles

Upper-face lines show up when you smile, frown, or squint — that’s muscle movement under the skin, not “old skin.”

Muscles take a pause

Xeomin works beneath the surface to temporarily keep those targeted muscles from contracting.

You still look like you

Frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet soften. The goal is a refreshed look — enhance it, don’t change it. Individual results vary.

Good to know

Common questions about Xeomin in Oswego.

How does Xeomin work?
Xeomin works beneath the skin to temporarily relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles — the lines that appear when you smile, frown, or squint. When those muscles rest, frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet look smoother, while your expressions stay yours. Individual results vary.
What is XTRACT Technology?
XTRACT Technology is Merz’s double-filtration process. It removes unnecessary complexing proteins so Xeomin contains the active neurotoxin molecule. Merz positions Xeomin as the first and only double-purified neuromodulator and reports zero toxin resistance in its clinical studies.
What is Xeomin FDA-approved for?
Xeomin is FDA-approved to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe upper facial lines in adults: frown lines (glabella), forehead lines, and crow’s feet (lateral canthal lines) — treated simultaneously or individually. At Hello Gorgeous, Ryan Kent, FNP-BC may also map other expression lines when it is clinically appropriate.
How is Xeomin different from Botox?
Both temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. Xeomin is double-purified with XTRACT Technology so accessory complexing proteins are removed. Xeomin units are not interchangeable with other botulinum toxins — Ryan maps your dose at the visit. We’ll help you choose based on goals, history, and how your muscles respond.
How much does Xeomin cost in Oswego?
$12 per unit. Ryan maps the number of units to your face at the visit, and you approve the total before we inject. Glow members save $1/unit. Xperience+ members can save $50 on a qualifying Xeomin treatment when they join, earn 100 points per treatment, and unlock up to $240 in annual Xeomin savings (Merz terms apply).
Does it hurt, and how long does it last?
Most clients feel only a tiny pinch. Treatment takes about 10 minutes. Results typically last 3–4 months; individual duration varies. Retreatment is generally no sooner than every three months.
Will I look frozen?
The manufacturer designed Xeomin to enhance your look, not change it. We use conservative dosing to preserve natural movement and offer a touch-up window when clinically appropriate. Individual results vary.
Can I switch from Botox to Xeomin?
Yes. Tell Ryan exactly which toxin you had and when. We usually wait until prior toxin has worn off so we can assess baseline muscle activity. Doses are not interchangeable between brands.
How does Xperience+ work at Hello Gorgeous?
Xperience+ is Merz’s loyalty program. Join for free, then save $50 on a qualifying Xeomin treatment, earn 100 points per treatment (every 100 points = $10 off), and unlock up to $240 in annual Xeomin savings. Create your account at XperienceMerz.com before your visit — or we’ll help you at the desk. After treatment we look you up by phone or email and apply eligible savings. Instant $50 savings and points can be awarded once every 90 days and are at the provider’s discretion. Points expire 12 months from the date earned.
Is there a consultation fee?
No — Xeomin consultations with our nurse practitioner are free.
Who injects Xeomin at Hello Gorgeous?
Ryan Kent, FNP-BC administers Xeomin under Medical Director Dr. Mukesh Arora, MD. We are at 74 W. Washington Street, Oswego, IL 60543. Call 630-636-6193.

Important safety information

XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription medicine injected into muscles to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe upper facial lines (frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet) in adults.

XEOMIN may cause serious side effects that can be life-threatening, including problems swallowing, speaking, or breathing, and spread of toxin effects hours to weeks after injection. Call your provider or get emergency help for those symptoms. Do not use Xeomin if you are allergic to it or another botulinum toxin, or if you have a skin infection at the planned injection site.

The most common side effect in upper-facial treatment is injection-site bruising. Other effects can include headache, eyelid or brow drooping, and allergic reactions.

Doses of Xeomin are not the same as other botulinum toxins. Tell Ryan every toxin, medicine, and muscle or nerve condition in your history.

This is not the full risk information. Read the Medication Guide and Full Prescribing Information at XeominAesthetic.com, or call 1-866-862-1211. Talk with Ryan Kent, FNP-BC before treatment.
