Weight management
Understanding GLP-1 care
GLP-1 is a hormone your body already makes. Some FDA-approved medications mimic that pathway for weight management. Brand examples, when they fit, include Wegovy® and Zepbound®. When a compounded GLP-1 is prescribed, it is prepared by a licensed US pharmacy for an individual patient. It is not FDA-approved, not a generic, and not the same as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, or Zepbound®. Branded options may be discussed when they fit.

In-person care is available at Hello Gorgeous Med Spa in Oswego, IL, serving Oswego, Naperville, Aurora, Plainfield, Yorkville, and Montgomery. Eligible prescriptions can ship across Illinois for a flat fee after approval.
Can weight-management and hormone care be coordinated?+–
Often yes — many patients discuss medical weight management and hormone evaluation in one practice. Protocols are coordinated by your NP so follow-up stays medically supervised. We do not use BioTE pellet marketing.
