Facials in Oswego, IL
Real esthetic skill, medical-grade products, and treatments tailored to your skin — not a one-size-fits-all menu.
Facials are the foundation of any good skincare routine — and the best facials are nothing like the ones you might have had at a chain spa. At Hello Gorgeous, our facials are performed by licensed estheticians (Dani included — she started here in esthetics before founding the practice) using medical-grade products and customized to your specific skin. From the gentlest hydrating facial to deep cleansing with extractions to HydraFacial to corrective treatments for acne, melasma, or aging, we build a treatment plan around your skin, not a menu.

What is Facials? How it works
A good facial involves multiple steps: deep cleansing, exfoliation appropriate to your skin type, extractions if needed, treatment masks or actives, and final hydration and protection. The 'one-size-fits-all' approach found at chain spas is the wrong model — sensitive skin and oily acne-prone skin need fundamentally different treatments. Our approach is to assess each client's skin individually and design a treatment for that specific moment in their skincare journey. HydraFacial — a popular branded treatment we offer — uses a specialized handpiece that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion in a single device, producing immediately visible results with minimal downtime.
Pricing & packages
Classic European facials start from $89. HydraFacial starts from $189. Corrective and treatment-series facials are quoted individually based on your skin needs. Most clients benefit from monthly facials as part of an ongoing skincare routine. Series packages available.
What to expect at your appointment
- Free skin consultation — your esthetician assesses your skin, asks about your routine and products, and recommends the right treatment.
- Cleansing and assessment — double cleanse followed by skin analysis (sometimes under magnification) to identify what your skin needs today.
- Treatment — customized steps based on your skin: exfoliation, extractions (if needed), treatment masks or peels, serums.
- Finishing — moisturizer, sunscreen, and product recommendations tailored to your skin for at-home maintenance.
- Plan — for clients with specific concerns (acne, aging, melasma, sensitivity), we design a treatment series and at-home routine together.
Frequently asked questions
- What kind of facial should I get?
- Depends on your skin. New clients usually start with a basic European facial so we can assess your skin and discuss goals. HydraFacial is great for clients who want immediate visible results before an event. Corrective facials are right for specific concerns like acne, melasma, or aging.
- How often should I get a facial?
- Monthly is ideal for most clients — that's the natural skin cell turnover cycle. Some clients (especially those dealing with active concerns like acne or melasma) benefit from every 2–3 weeks during treatment phases; others maintain with quarterly facials.
- What's HydraFacial?
- A specific branded treatment using a specialized device that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion in one tool. Results are visible immediately and there's no significant downtime. Great for events, but also a good ongoing treatment for general skin maintenance.
- Do facials really make a difference?
- Done well, yes. The biggest benefit isn't the immediate post-facial glow — it's the cumulative effect of consistent professional treatment combined with the right at-home routine. Clients who see us monthly for a year look measurably different than clients who see us once.
- Will you push me to buy products?
- We make product recommendations based on your skin. We carry brands we believe in (medical-grade, science-backed). But we never high-pressure sell — if you want to stick with what you have, we'll help you use it better. The goal is your skin getting better, not our retail revenue.
- Can facials help with acne?
- Yes — corrective facials with appropriate extractions, acids, and treatment masks can meaningfully help. For more significant or persistent acne, we combine facials with at-home regimens, blue light, and (for severe cases) referrals or coordination with dermatology.
