Hi, gorgeous 💕 You said yes to Luxora by InMode — the technology that contracts and tightens fibrous tissue and dermis using radiofrequency. Whether you're targeting your jawline, jowls, neck, or a small body area, Luxora delivers real, dramatic results that build over 6–12 months. The next two weeks are about preparing your body to respond beautifully and heal smoothly. Read this once now, then again 7 days before your appointment.

⚠ THIS IS A MEDICAL PROCEDURE — PLEASE READ FIRST

Luxora is performed in our procedure room, with local anesthesia and tumescent solution (a fluid that numbs and prepares the tissue). Tiny incision ports are made for the handpiece, and small absorbable sutures or steri-strips may be used. You'll need a driver home, time to rest, and a compression garment. This is not a "lunchtime" treatment. It IS a real, transformative one. Ryan will discuss everything with you in detail at your pre-op consultation.

YOUR LUXORA HANDPIECE — 3 SIZES, 3 PURPOSES

Same RF technology, three handpiece sizes. The handpiece selected for your treatment depends on the area and your treatment goals. Ryan will confirm the size at your pre-op visit.

💊 PRESCRIPTIONS YOU MAY GET

Depending on your history + treatment area, Ryan may prescribe:

Antiviral (e.g., Valtrex) — if you have any cold sore history or are getting face/neck treated

Prophylactic antibiotic — to start day of and continue 5–7 days for incision site healing

Pain medication — for first 1–3 days post

Anti-anxiety — at Ryan's discretion if helpful

FILL ALL Rx EARLY: Pick up at the pharmacy days before your appointment. Take exactly as directed.
🛒 SUPPLIES TO STOCK

You'll want these at home before your appointment:

Compression garment (provided by us, OR per Ryan's instructions)

Gentle cleanser (Cetaphil, CeraVe)

Antibiotic ointment (Bacitracin or Neosporin)

Clean gauze + paper tape

Mineral SPF 30+ (zinc oxide)

Loose, soft clothes you can pull ON without going over your head

Pillows (for sleeping elevated if face/neck)

Easy soft foods (soup, smoothies, yogurt)

Tylenol (NOT ibuprofen/aspirin/NSAIDs — those increase bleeding)

Day 1–2: Drainage from incision sites is normal. Stay home, rest, dressings on.

Day 3: First dressing change at home OR in office (per Ryan). Compression garment on full-time.

Days 4–7: Bruising visible, swelling significant. Most patients aren't ready to be social.

Days 7–14: Bruising fades, swelling goes down. Compression garment continues.

Weeks 2–3: Resume most activities. Some swelling lingers.

Weeks 4–12: Tightening becomes visible.

Months 6–12: Full results 💕

DO NOT BOOK: events, travel, photos, anything important within 3 weeks post-tx.
🚫 HARD STOPS BEFORE TX

Alcohol — stop 48 hrs before, avoid for several days after

Smoking / vaping — stop 2 weeks before (HUGE healing impact)

Intense workouts day before — body needs to be rested

PRESCRIPTION MEDS: Do NOT stop any prescribed medication without your prescriber. If you're on blood thinners, Ryan may coordinate with your prescriber for a safe pause.

Lay out loose, button-down or pull-on clothes

Confirm your driver

Pack your bag: compression garment, antibiotic ointment, gauze, water, phone charger

Sleep early — 8 hrs.

🧠 MENTAL PREP

A few honest things to know:

This is a real procedure. Numbing fluid is injected into the area, tiny incisions are made, the handpiece moves under the skin. You'll be awake but comfortable.

You'll be sore. Like a workout you've never done.

You'll be swollen. Bruised. Drainage from tiny ports.

You'll wear compression for weeks. Yes, even sleeping.

It's worth it. The transformation is on a different level than non-invasive treatments — but it requires your patience.

TRUST THE PROCESS. 6–12 months for full results. Photo at week 0, week 12, month 6, month 12.
